It's been a while since our last update! We've been busy with some new songs as of late and we're finally able to show another. But before that, we'd like to address that May 15, 2022 was kEna's second anniversary! This year, we've commissioned Ami-Magane for an amazing illustration for him! Hope you like it as much as we do! As for the new song, it's a demo for Xiao Shancha's CVVCV Japanese DeepVocal: "Renraku Madaa?" by Live-P. The cover is by yakou using sango312's UST, with mixing done by Marukun. The illustration was by ElliCoffee and the video editing was by Fruit Tea. The cover is also available on our SoundCloud account and on Migi's bilibili account. We are expecting to have two or three UTAU demos for this version of Shancha. Until then, we hope that you enjoy her so far!
Thank you for reading and for your support!

After a long time, we're finally able to show a demo of Xiao Shancha CVVCV Japanese DeepVocal! We are hoping to release 2 DeepVocal demos and 2 or 3 UTAU demos in total, but that depends on the results. Actually, this demo was supposed to release on Shancha's anniversary, but the song took a long time to produce. Instead, we commissioned Reishichi for an anniversary illustration instead, which also features her male derivative, Xiao Naidong! Back to the subject of the song, it's a cover of "Kumo ni Nattara", which was originally written by 40mP. The cover was handled by Migi and the mixing was done by Juoruky. The visuals were borrowed from the original version. The cover is also available on Migi's SoundCloud and bilibili accounts. The voicebanks are expected to release some time in 2022 or 2023, ideally the former. The UTAU version will use a brand new design while the DeepVocal version will remain the same.
We hope that you are looking forward to Shancha's new Japanese voicebanks! It's been a long time since we've last updated the website and a lot went on since then! We've had several new uploads, including full versions of older demos. We'll be showing all of them here, as well as get to the main course of this article: Junjie's birthday! Since the upload of the "Karakuri Pierrot" cover by Mina Moonrise featuring Xiao Meihua, not long after that, we've released the full version of one of the Shancha and Meihua Japanese DeepVocal demos, "Heart Chrome", which was originally written by HachiojiP and q*Left. The cover was by yakou using SeeU&KPOP's VSQx file, with illustrations by Chunnyeol and video editing by Cluemily. This was uploaded in June. In September, the full version of "Blind", which was originally written by JUSF, was uploaded and was one of Meihua's Chinese DeepVocal demos (also featuring the voice of Yi as harmonies). The cover was created by Migi and used Uryan's and Marukun's sequences. It was mixed by Mina Moonrise, illustrated by Jijiilong, and the video was edited by ame。. Finally, on November 13, for Yu Junjie's first anniversary, we released the full version of "Nenchaku-kei Danshi no 15-nen Nechinechi", originally written by Ie no Ura de Manbou ga ShinderuP. The cover was done and mixed by Mina Moonrise using nmasao1's UST. The illustration was done by HJ and video edits were by Preuss. This also used kimchi-tan's oto, so keep in mind that if you download Junjie's voice, it's not the same oto. By default, his oto is by Purpled. But this doesn't end here! In addition to the new PV upload, we've also updated faynatical's acrylic keychain line to include Junjie's Japanese UTAU outfit! This line was the very first set of keychains we've ever produced and released! Now, a matching Junjie could be added to your collection if you wish! To order, the shop link is here. Keep in mind, for the entire month of November, Junjie's keychains are discounted. This also applies to the new faynatical one, so take advantage of it while you can! That's all we have for the latest updates! Hopefully, we'll stay more on track in keeping the site running smoothly with future news. We hope you enjoy this new content! Thank you always for supporting JAE VOCAL PROJECT, its creators, and its line of vocalists! Until next time!
Today is Xiao Meihua's fifth anniversary! This year, we've uploaded a new cover of "Karakuri Pierrot", originally written by 40mP! The cover was handled by Mina Moonrise with illustrations by 02Kase-chan! This uses the VSQx by Mark LawX and the harmony vocals feature our affiliate from The StarRise Project: Seishi Starchaser! The cover is available on YouTube and bilibili! In the PV, you'll also notice cameos of Ser0, Xiao Shancha, JD, kEna, and Yu Junjie! Unfortunately, Canary couldn't make it, but we'll find a way to make it up to him for sure!
In addition, since it's June, all Xiao Meihua and Xiao Meiye keychains are on sale for the month! Please check out our official Ko-Fi shop if you're are interested in obtaining either character! Thank you very much for supporting Meihua after all these years! JAE VOCAL PROJECT has come a long way since then and we hope it shows! After a long wait, Xiao Meihua's CVVChinese voicebanks are now available for both UTAU and DeepVocal! Both are using Risku's voicebank and were voiced by Migi. Ryan-kun developed both versions with some alterations from Feng Quan in regards to the UTAU version. Check out the crossfade below! There's a total of two UTAU demos and four DeepVocal demos. For UTAU, the design remains as the very original by Purpled! However for DeepVocal, she has a whole new look! The design was created by Parapa-kun and the final illustration was done by KUREiiRO! You may have seen this design before a few months ago, but we won't say where from. That's for you to find out for yourself, but we will say that like the other designs, the theme colors are based on the sky. For Mandarin DeepVocal, it's volcanic sky!
After this release, we have no further plans for Meihua at the moment. While we are interested in expanding language capabilities or voicebank styles (formats, multipitching, vocal tones) for her, at the same time, we want to focus on other characters. In the meantime, we hope that you enjoy Meihua's voicebanks until we are ready to create more for her again! We hope you are looking forward to whatever future project we have in store for you! Until next time! Within the last two weeks, we released two full cover songs: "Jougen no Tsuki" by Kurousa-P and "Wú Zhònglì Shàonǚ" by T-L-S and Yu Li. "Jougen no Tsuki" was one of Yu Junjie's demos and was covered by kimchi-tan using rifia's UST and was mixed by MinaKi. The song featured nikkeruu's illustration and the video was edited by Preuss. "Wú Zhònglì Shàonǚ" was covered by Migi and mixed by MinaKi. This song featured Xiao Meihua's DeepVocal Sweet vocal, in addition to her DeepVocal Natural vocal, Yi, and Pinku for the harmonies. This upload featured the original video and used the official VSQx. Both songs are also available on SoundCloud and bilibili. Yu Junjie CV Japanese was made available for download on November 13, 2020, so anyone can download and use him if they'd like!
As for Xiao Meihua CVVChinese, we are still expecting another demo before she is able to be released for public use! We hope you are looking forward to her in addition to any other project we have planned! We have new merchandise available on Storenvy: 4 double-sided keychains with front-side glitter epoxy! These feature the first characters of JAE VOCAL PROJECT, each with a distinct design: Xiao Meihua (DeepVocal), Ser0 (3rd Anniversary), Canary (UTAU Japanese 1.0), and Xiao Shancha (DeepVocal). The art was illustrated by Melody (@faynatical). A few specials are offered for these keychains:
Please keep in mind that due to COVID-19, shipments may be delivered later than usual. In addition, for overseas customers, please refer to this website to see if shipping services are available from the USA to you!
Want to see these as stickers, buttons, and more on Redbubble? Well, we will be making these available later. From now on, keychain designs that are also perfectly compatible for Redbubble will be made available after about at least three months since their initial debut, but you can always purchase them as keychains after that unless it's been decided to retire them. We have many more merchandise ideas circulating, but we can't show them to you just yet. For now, we hope you like these keychains by Melody! Today, Migi uploaded a new cover and demo song for StarRise Project's DeepVocal character: Novallus Moondancer! Novallus is the second vocal entry of the series and would be released later in the year. The song was a cover of "Star Mate", which was originally written by 40mP. MinaKi was credited for the mixing, Parapa-kun handled the illustrations, and dzktd was the video editor. The UST was created by lanttu. This demo is available on YouTube, SoundCloud, and bilibili. In the PV and harmonies, Seishi Starchaser, Xiao Meiye, and a new character were featured (while X-Y-R-3-N was a visual cameo only). This new character is Xiao Naidong, Meiye's younger brother! This cover used DeepVocal voicebanks only, so Xiao Shancha and Meihua were both adjusted in the GEN parameters of the software to achieve "Naidong and Meiye's voices".
More information about Naidong is available on our website and on UTAU Wiki. Like the other characters, fans can also download his official Mii for the Nintendo systems. We hope you enjoy the video and Naidong! Until next time!
Today, we released a new demo for Xiao Meihua's DeepVocal package! This time, it's for her Sweet voicebank and it's a cover of "9Bang15便士" by ilem. The tuning was done by Migi, with Marukun's help via MIDI. MinaKi mixed the song and tobi illustrated the thumbnail image, which also makes its appearance in the video as well.
This cover is available on YouTube, SoundCloud, and bilibili.
Two more DeepVocal demos and two UTAU demos are expected for this update. It's possible that they may not be available in full until after her DeepVocal release.
We have some special surprises in the next two weeks! We will be making a quick announcement on Twitter some time before Friday, June 26, so be on the lookout for that! Until then, we hope you enjoy this demo! It's been four years since Xiao Meihua was released! This year, we've put together a slideshow, displaying a handful of wonderful artwork she's gained over the years. Some of them are on public display on each of the artists' sites and others were never shown to the public before! The video itself was edited by DIVINITY and uses three covers that were already available to the public. Can you figure out which ones they are without looking? Check out the video on YouTube and bilibili! Be sure to view the description for the full credits. The artists and cover artists involved are listed and linked there.
It's been an exciting four years for not just Meihua, but the "informal debut" of JAE VOCAL PROJECT (group name was established in 2018) as well. We are pleased that we've come this far in what seems like both a long and a short time! Thank you always for your support! Be sure to be on the look out in the next few weeks for more content! |
